As part of your re-opening strategy, train your new team members and refresh and strengthen your current teams’ knowledge of good operating practices.

Train new team members and prepare your team to operate safely and reduce the risk to themselves and your customers and consumers. This course covers key Good Operating Practices (GOPs) where restaurant, retail and foodservice personnel need to focus to reduce risk to food safety, including personnel practices and hygiene, allergens, cross-contact, temperature control and sanitation control.

  • Identify high-risk areas and activities controlled through Good Operating Practices
  • Recognize their responsibilities in producing safe food
  • Apply basic hygiene principles to minimize risk


Who Should Attend

This training is designed for all foodservice and retail personnel, including newly hired team members, newcomers to the industry, those who typically work in other areas of the business and as refresher training for personnel.

This training also provides a good introduction to good operating practices for individuals not directly involved in food service, such as sanitation, pest control, etc.
