Program Description

For information on virtual instructor-led training, please email us.

This one day course is designed to teach participants the fundamentals of the ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System (EMS). Upon completion, participants will understand how to identify the environmental aspects of their company and how to set measurable goals to reduce their impacts on the environment.

This session can be combined with the two day internal auditor training to qualify your EMS internal audit team.

Classroom lecture is combined with interactive discussion so that participants fully understand how the ISO 14001 standard will support their business objectives, and increase their profile for environmental stewardship.

The session concludes with a workshop where small groups will begin to identify the key environmental aspects and impacts of their organization. This hands-on approach will reinforce the lecture, and ensure that key subject matter is understood by all participants.

For automotive companies, an optional workshop is offered where participants review their APQP process against the life cycle perspective and propose changes to more effectively consider EMS concerns during product launch.

Please bring your copy of the ISO 14001:2015 standard to this training session.
