This two-day course is designed to teach participants the basics of the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System, and provide the tools and techniques to perform competent assessment of the effectiveness of their quality management system. Learners will gain the required internal auditing skills through formal classroom teaching, group activities and class discussions.
The four phases of an internal audit are discussed:
- Performing the Audit
- Reporting and Verification
The foundation of ISO 9001 is a quality management system should be built around the fundamental processes of the organization. Emphasis is placed keeping a “big picture” perspective on the internal audit, to ensure that the outputs of each business or manufacturing process are understood. The internal audit is used to fully test the effectiveness of each process to deliver the best output possible.
Classroom lecture is combined with interactive workshops to ensure that participants understand how the tools and techniques at their disposal apply specifically to them in order to carry out audits that will add value to their organization.
Please bring your copy of the ISO 9001:2015 standard to this training session.
Prerequisite(s): A good understanding of the ISO 9001:2015 version of the standard is essential.
