NSF’s internal auditing courses provide the training, tools and techniques needed to perform a competent assessment of the effectiveness of your food safety or quality management system.

All sites certified to a GFSI-benchmarked standard are required to conduct an internal audit on an annual basis. Conducting internal audits with a food safety focus is an essential element to determine whether your food safety management system is implemented and functioning effectively.

From planning the internal audit and developing the audit checklist to learning best practices to conduct the internal audit and write the internal audit report and nonconformances, this training provides the knowledge and skills to prepare for, conduct and drive continual improvement through effective internal audits.
